2011 Winter Program

Called Forth from the Waters:

a Baptismal Spirituality in and for the World

with Rev. Brendan Hurley, SJ and Rev. Michael Woods, SJ

Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 12:00

27 January; 3, 10, 17, 24 February; 3 March 2011

Ring in the new year with a six week program designed to help

us "return to the font," that is the baptsimal font. It exlpores

how baptism - our own and that of others - potentially shapes a

Christ-centered view of the world. Baptism calls us to ongoing

conversion, to a discreet sensitivity to the presence of God, to

Christ-centered choices and to a community that recognizes

him in the breaking of the bread and in the marginalized.

Rev. Brendan Hurley, SJ, is a Spiritual Director at the Pontifical North American College in Rome.

Rev. Mike Woods, SJ, is a Professor of Liturgical Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
