The inaugural lecture, on October 13th (from 9:30-12:00), entitled Pilgrims on the Road to Assisi: The Role of World Religions in the Search for Justice
and Peace,

 

will be led by Felix Körner, S.J.

 

The five week autumn course will begin on October 20th. A Faith that Cherishes Life, Rev. Stephen Rehrauer, C.Ss.R. will explore the deeper meaning of an
essential

 

Christian vision of life and its concrete application to some of today's most challenging bioethical issues.

 

On Thursday, December 1st, at an event to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Lay Centre  and its alliance with Catholic Theological Union, we will have a
special afternoon

 

program entitled What is the Role of Women in Peacebuilding? Jewish, Christian and Muslim Perspectives. This will be followed by Mass celebrated by Most
Rev. Joseph P. Tobin, C.Ss.R.
